This is a weekend designed to get you in the holiday mood.  There’ll be the traditional tree lighting in Poulos Park on Friday evening and local stores and artists will have their wares for sale up and down Grand Avenue.  You’ll even find food and wine tastings by local producers.  All this continues on Saturday with lots of activities for children – hay rides, a puppet show, cookie cottage decorating, a free movie (Fantasia) and, of course, a visit with Santa. 

The churches of Paonia would welcome your participation in worship Sunday morning.  Or, if you are an avid biker, participate in the Black Peach Brawl, a bike race sponsored by Shish KaBikes.  In the afternoon the Bross Hotel will host an open house and Deck the Halls party.  If you like decorating for Christmas, this is your opportunity to help make this Victorian lady shine.
