The sun is shining and we’re having longer stretches of warmer weather.  Makes me anxious to welcome spring.  And, spring in Paonia, and throughout the North Fork Valley, is always miraculous.  Lambs and calves are in the pastures. The orchards and vineyards bloom. The perennials in the gardens come back to life after a dormant winter.  Even the adobe hills turn green. Everywhere there are signs that the agricultural cycle is beginning its rotation.  The smell of life is in the air.
