Paonia is a small town and some of our events are reminiscent of small town America in the 1950s.  Yes, they may remind you of yesterday by the fact there’s free music in the park and most of the town shows up for the show.  But, don’t be fooled, there’s nothing old fashioned about the music.   The lineup for August is as follows:
Aug. 4 – March Fourth Marching Band from Portland, Oregon
Aug. 11 – Shannon Whitworth, former lead singer for the Biscuit Burners
Aug. 18 – Old California, a California based folk rock group
Aug. 25 – The Black Lillies, a Tennessee band playing country, roots, rock and blues

So bring your picnic to the park, or purchase a burger or hotdog to enjoy with the music.  And, don’t forget to bring seating – a chair or blanket.

See you there!
